We have revolutionised composite manufacturing by taking a fresh look at what was traditionally been perceived as a cottage industry. We have divided what we do into two distinct areas, technical and production, which allows us to focus on a wider portfolio of applications and maintain control of our key costs.

Our production facility in Draycott, Derbyshire, in the UK,
is purely production-focussed, offering a straightforward materials-in, components-out production-line environment.

Our technical centre in Derby, UK, is a unique operation, offering specialist support to all our customers. It is also very focused on giving customers the components they require. This no-nonsense approach offers support if it’s needed or ‘materials in, product out’. Thus helping us to produce parts that customers need on time, every time.

Tooling & Jigs:
All tooling and jigs are designed and manufactured on site.

Ovens & Autoclaves:
epm:technology currently operates three autoclaves and five ovens, the largest autoclave measuring 6m x 3m.  We also have a 3m x 3.5m new dual burner oven which can post cure up to 425°c.

Specialist Tooling:
Melt out, metal cast tooling foundry on site.

Finishing:
Craftsmen with years of experience handle every epm:technology-produced component personally. Full CNC machining of components once we achieve an appropriate volume. Jigs for through holes, router jigs and bonding assemblies.

Technical:
Our UK technical centre handles our advanced CAD activities and works closely with clients so that we can design within known production parameters of any given application. Our advanced CNC machines then enable us to produce master models, high-performance tooling and the production of bespoke “one-offs” and low volume items. These are all Catia V5 CAD seats.

Production:
Our production centre takes the tooling from our technical department - accompanied by a detailed manufacturing spec - and transforms single-figure components into medium and high-volume numbers.
