Production
Thanks to epm:technology, the barriers to producing composite components and structures have been swept away.

We have revolutionised composite manufacturing by taking a fresh look at what was traditionally a cottage industry. We have divided what we do into two distinct areas, technical and production, which allows us to focus on a wider portfolio of applications and control our costs.

Our production facilities, at our base in Draycott, Derbyshire, in the UK, and Bangalore in India, are purely production-focussed, offering a straightforward materials-in, components-out production-line environment.

CNC Machining:
Full CNC machining capability, our largest machine measures
6m x 3m x 3m

Tooling & Jigs:
All tooling and jigs are designed and manufactured on site.

Ovens & Autoclaves:
epm:technology currently operates four autoclaves and 28 ovens

Finishing:
Craftsmen with years of experience handle every epm:technology-produced component personally. Full CNC machining of components once we achieve an appropriate volume. Jigs for through holes, router jigs and bonding assemblies.

Paint:
epm:technology has its own paint shop, enabling us to supply components in primer-only/primer/showroom colour finish.

QA:
Our parts are 100% inspected and, where appropriate, we have QA checking fixtures and dimension reports.

 Technical:
Our UK technical centre handles our advanced CAD activities and works closely with clients so that we can design within known production parameters of any given application. Our advanced CNC machines then enable us to produce master models, high-performance tooling and the production of bespoke "one-offs" and low volume items.

Production:
Our production centre takes the tooling from our technical department - accompanied by a detailed manufacturing spec - and transforms single-figure components into medium and high-volume numbers.
